Experience was good except I wanted certain maintenance items completed, apparently the service advisor and the service tech decided, I didn't need those services and didn't do them. Never had ever heard of a service department at a dealership refusing to do service a customer specifically requested. Specifically, I wanted a transmission flush done, and they just changed the fluid and filter. I also said I wanted the differential fluid changed, because it was 10 years old. They just said it didn't need it, and didn't do it. Without asking me. Also, the paperwork says 7 quarts of oil were used, my car is a dry sump oil system requires 9.8 quarts. The only way they could have used 7 is if they did not remove both oil plugs to drain the oil. Now I'm wondering was it a paperwork mistake, or did they leave 2.8 quarts of bad oil in my dry sump system. Who knows

The gentleman who took care of me, Daniel, did an excellent job. He was very personable. As for the rest of the crew, they need to learn how to smile and speak to the ones they are there for . I don't think I've ever been to a more depressing dealership. Not one time was I greeted by anyone else or even had someone make eye contact with me. They just walked right past like zombies. Even the finance guy, who was so pleasant when I was spending $70,000, couldn't even manage to look at me when we walked past each other. It was a very weird experience and I might just go somewhere else next time (most likely). Get off your phones and show some respect to your customers!

I was supposed to have my truck at the dealership by8AM. So I made arrangements for my wife to pick me up. I got a call at 2 Pm that it was being evaluated and then would try to get approval from fleet company. It wasn’t even going to begin work by end of day. So I made arrangements to pick it up and would schedule another appointment after parts came in. The primary reason for taking to dealership was to do recall work on tailgate and check front brakes. The next appointment was scheduled and I was promised that my truck would be done by noon. I received a call to let me know that it would be by the end of the day instead. I ended up getting new brakes, rotors and tires. The first time that I drove the truck, I noticed a vibration in the tires that wasn’t there before. After my truck spending 2 days at the dealership and was in worse condition than when I took it in, I decided to take it someplace else to get the tires balanced. In just one short hour, my tires were perfectly balanced. The guy said they were so poorly balanced that it looked like they had just been mounted. I would not recommend Chevrolet of Columbus service to anyone!

They tracked down a few other problems and I ended up not getting the car back until the 5th of September. I'm happy with the work, just not completely pleased with how long it took.

I was scheduled to have my tire repaired along with 4 other items Thursday September 11th. During the oil change and tire rotation on Tuesday September 9th a nail was found in my tire. Thursday metal was also found which meant I needed a new tire. I was told that a new tire would be delivered between 1 - 2 pm. I drive 1 hour and 10 minutes to your dealership. My appointment was at 10 am but I got there at 9:30 am. I was fine waiting so I did not have to drive back to the dealership again. Twice in the same week was plenty. The tire was delivered at 1:45 pm then I was told that I had to wait for a technician to be available to complete the task. All the technicians were busy with other customers. After 1 hour of waiting, I went into the Service writers area to ask how much longer I had to wait. That's when I lost it. Why did I have to wait an hour, also had I not went to the Service writers area how much longer would they have made me wait. I was at the dealership from 9:30 am to 3:07 pm. Why? Why? When they put the new tire on, my car was jacked up where it sat waiting on the tire delivery. I watched. My car was parked next to the service bay doors.

My experience at Chevrolet Of Columbus was phenomenal. I originally planned to purchase a vehicle of a different brand but decided to stop by because there was one vehicle on the lot that fell within my shopping parameters. I was greeted by an energetic salesman and he worked with me to understand my left and right shopping limits. He suggested a vehicle I had not previously considered and even let me take it on my journey around town as I conitnued to search other dealerships for a new vehicle. Before I left, vehicle sale price and monthly payments were discussed. Not one of the other dealerships could match the price, monthly payments, or energy from Chevrolet of Columbus. As it turns out, my perfect vehicle was sitting on their lot the entire time, it just took a little while to see it.

I loved my sales guy -James Burris. I bought a new truck on Thursday but realized I needed by Bed cover on from the old truck. They were planning on doing it when I scheduled the truck in for bed spray liner. He actually took time to move it for me that night, so I didn’t have to wait or figure out how to deal with my Friday night without a bed cover. It happened to rain Friday, so I definitely appreciate having the cover. Talk about going the extra mile! Not only that, he was friendly, sweet and if he didn’t an answer, he found it for me. He’s a gem and I hope he is there when I go buy another truck. This the 3rd vehicle I’ve bought from this location since 2019.

I called and scheduled an early appointment due to borrow a vehicle while mine was being serviced. I was told when I scheduled that my service would be finished in that time. The day of my service, I was informed that my vehicle was not taken back until a little after 2 in the afternoon and it would need to be kept overnight. I informed them this would not work due to needing mine or another vehicle for the next day. I was told I could be given a rental and it could be picked up the next day. I informed them I would have to pick it up the same day due to not haven’t a way to get the rental the following day. To that, the only response I received was “ok”. I tried to call but my service person was not available. I asked for a call back, which I did not receive. Later day I received a text that they were finished with my truck for the day and it would still need to be held overnight to finish the work. At that time I texted asking for a call back. I finally received a call and was told that if I needed a rental, the rental company closes at 5. It was 4:50. I would not be able to make it to get a rental. So I told the person I spoke with that I would just pick up my truck in the condition it was in. When I arrived to the dealership to pick up my truck, I never received an apology put was told “oh, I was wrong. The rental company closes at 6”. Then I was told that if I call and schedule another appointment, the answering service will not relay a message about needing to schedule early for the same day appointment. If this is the case, how am I supposed to know that the person I’m scheduling with will not relay a request that I have. I will not be returning for any additional services at Chevy of Columbus.
